Expectorant Thins and Breaks Up MucusMucinex® D Maximum Strength contains 1200 milligrams of guaifenesin, an expectorant that helps relieve chest congestion by thinning and loosening mucus and helping make your cough more productive.

Mucinex® D Maximum Strength contains 120 milligrams of pseudoephedrine HCl, a nasal decongestant that helps relieve your stuffy nose and/or sinus pressure by reducing swelling of blood vessels in your nasal passages to decrease congestion and increase drainage.
Extended-Release Bi-layer Tablet Works for 12 Hours
